Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and inhuman. - Martin Luther King Jr.

I am a public advocate focused on addressing & dismantling barriers that cause health care disparities that disproportionately affect Black & NBPOC (non Black people of color) such as poverty. Poverty is the root cause of violence which falls under structural racism.  Gun violence is a public health crisis as well as a disparity that also disproportionately affects young Black men. I have 24 years of healthcare experience. For 18 years of my life, I worked in the emergency department and the last years were spent at Boston Medical Center helping provide care to victims of violence as well as many other medical issues our community faces.

My mission is to help bring healing to a community that has been neglected & forgotten about. I will continue to battle inequity and injustice by fighting for my community's needs, listening to their concerns, and advocating when their voices are not heard. The ultimate goal is to empower, especially young people by providing the necessary resources that they deserve so that they are able to advocate for themselves. I will ensure that the people in power are transparent and accountable as well as collaborate with our community to find solutions for health disparities that plague the disenfranchised.
